Pallet pools and closed-loop partners charge for pallets that go missing from an account. The charge is usually set in the contract, and it is billed after a reconciliation of issues, transfers and returns.
Because the charge depends on the pool's counts, ask for the reconciliation by location before paying. The model lost-pallet clause on this site requires one.
